MOSCOW, May 6 (PRIME) -- Russian shipment company Sovcomflot will sell part of the fleet, including the aged capacity, a spokesperson said Friday.
"The media rumors about the sale of the fleet of the company are exaggerated. We will offer the aged capacities to the market and the ships, whose use is pointless because of the restrictions on the Russian trade fleet," the official said.
The foreign media reported earlier that Sovcomflot could sell 33% of the fleet, partially to the United Arab Emirates and China, in order to repay foreign loans.
